Last May I went to the Scrapbook Expo, and took a class where we made three layouts using paper from the Basic Grey Sugar Rush line. I saved the leftovers, and finally put them to good use last weekend, making a bunch of cards. I kept things pretty simple...scraps of kraft cardstock for the base, a few pieces of patterned paper, outlined with a white gel pen. For most cards, I added a Hero Arts "Thanks" stamped in black or embossed in white plus a diecut or hand-cut accent, and called it done!

Added a Hero Arts flower stamp colored with Copics on this one. |

Went crazy and handwrote the greeting on this one! |

Broke out the BG chipboard letters for this one. |
Thanks for looking!
Cute cards! I really need to take a day to use up all my scraps...thanks for the inspiration! :)
ReplyDeleteI've never met a BG card I didn't like. Yours are no exception - very nice!
ReplyDeleteHi there! Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving such a nice comment yesterday. My brother lives in Connecticut and my sister is a psychologist :) so there's a little connection for you from across the pond
