Years ago, I bought one of those Bo-Bunny Word Chipboard Albums. I had good intentions of using it, but it sat in my scrap closet for a *long* time! I finally decided it would work well for some photos of our trip to Jamaica back in January. I covered each page with Bo Bunny Flowerchild paper, inked the edges with brown ink, added photos and embellished. Because the paper has so much going on, it didn't need lot...just a little bling and some Smooch. All of the other embellishments were just cut out from the paper and adhered with pop-dots.
I don't know if I would ever do this type of album again. I love the concept of the mini-album, but covering the letters with paper was tedious! My husband did give it his seal of approval, saying it looked "cool." Of course, I should have shown it to him earlier, as he caught a few inaccuracies in my journaling (we ate jerked chicken, not pulled pork, and he questions whether our driver was really named Elvis! Oh well, I'll fix that later!).
Here's the album!
Thanks for looking!
Those albums are a lot of work, but yours turned out great! Our daughter in-law grew up in Guilford. Her last name was Krier before she married our son. We were in Guilford for the wedding - lovely place!
ReplyDeleteThis turned out very nice Becca! I haven't tried one of these albums for the same reason, but I love the way this looks. Elvis, eh?
